An Introduction to ALPS Surrey

ALPS Partnership Limited (ALPS) is a non profit making company dedicated to supporting Learning Providers and Learners to achieve their potential in the field of work based learning. ALPS is a network of work based learning providers comprising of privately owned companies, colleges and national organisations. Members are engaged in the delivery of vocational training leading to NVQ’s, Apprenticeships and other qualifications.

Our vision is to support and develop our members to deliver a highly skilled workforce that meets the economic needs of Surrey.

Our Mission

“To add value to learning providers’ businesses, to widen opportunities for learning and enhance learners’ experiences in Surrey by providing a collective voice on national and local issues”.

Key Objectives

•  • Develop an effective work based learning network, widening participation between providers and services across Surrey
•  • Influence positive development of work based learning in the County and contribute to the improvement of quality of learning provision
•  • Impact positively on the recruitment, retention and achievement of learners
•  • Act as the voice of the provider network on local and national issues affecting work based learning
