Welcome to ALP Surrey
The Assocation of Learning Providers in Surrey (ALPS) is a non profit making company dedicated to supporting Learning Providers and assisting Learners to achieve their full potential in the field of work based learning. ALPS is a network of 34 work based learning providers comprising of independent learning providers, colleges and national organisations. Members deliver vocational training leading to Apprenticeships and other nationally recognised qualifications.
Our vision is to continue to be active, well-respected group that is an essential partner for learning providers and funding organisations in the development of work based learning in Surrey.
Our mission is to add value to learning providers businesses, widen opportunities for learning and enhance experiences by:
- Providing information on work based and vocational learning for learners and employers.
- To provide a forum for learning providers to exchange information and explore opportunities for collaborative partnerships.
- A collective voice for learning providers on national and local issues.
- Working to improve the quality of work based and vocational learning.
- Seeking opportunities for funding from existing and new sources.
- Sharing best practice.
