Southampton Engineering Training Association (SETA) is a leading, specialist Engineering Apprenticeship Training Provider. Established in 1969 as one of the original ETAs in the UK, we have over 50 years’ experience in delivering engineering training, with a proud heritage of enabling young people to become talented engineers of the future. Our dedicated training centre in Southampton has continuously managed apprenticeship programmes and delivered upskilling and engineering training for a vast range of employers from across the UK. We’re proud to say that many of our apprentices have gone on to work for national and global companies, and have become supervisors and mentors for the current generation of apprentices.

We are an OFSTED Grade 2 provider delivering accredited, industry-recognised training to an advanced level, delivered by highly experienced staff with extensive industry knowledge. We also offer a range of commercial courses for the engineering sector including City & Guilds electrical courses, CCNSG courses, CompEx courses, Welding, Machining, Safe Use of Equipment. We are a recognised AM2 assessment centre and an EAL approved centre for assessing adult NVQs in the workplace.
