Nescot (North East Surrey College of Technology) is a further and higher education college located in Ewell, near Epsom. Recognised as ‘Good’ in every area by Ofsted in January 2023, the College trains hundreds of apprentices each year in key sectors including construction, science, early years and IT. Around 2000 young people study full-time courses with a similar number of adult learners on part-time, higher education and distance learning programmes.
Nescot is among a partnership of regional employers, colleges and universities to be creating the Sussex and Surrey Institute of Technology, opening in Autumn 2023. An IoT centre is will be located on the college’s campus, adding to a range of impressive facilities for vocational training in around 25 sectors.
The College’s ethos is to provide an atmosphere for learning that is both supportive and ambitious for its students and employer partners. This is reflected in high achievement rates, strong progression into employment and higher courses, and outstanding feedback from our business customers. One of our apprenticeship clients recently said, “Our relationship with the College is fundamental to what we’re trying to achieve.”
